Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Does your child need self dicipline, confidence, self-esteem what about fitness and coordination or a good role model? We teach them more than just a form of Martial Arts we teach them respect for themselves and others. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a form of wrestling there is no striking (punching or kicking), and is a great form of self defence.  This form of Martial Arts is suitable for kids & teenages from 8 to 15-years of age.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a form of submission wrestling. It is done both wearing a Gi (Judo Uniform) and No Gi (Normally Board Shorts & Rashie). Contestants start standing with the intent to take their opponent to the mat and finish them with a submission. This form of Martial Arts is suitable for adults and teenages from the age of 13-years.

  Muay Thai Kickboxing

Muay Thai is a ring sport that started in Thailand and is similar to kickboxing. At SMMA we teach those that want to learn Muay Thai for self defense & their own self confidence. We also teach those that would like to compete in this very competitive sport. This form of Martial Arts is suitable for adults and teenagers from the age of 13-years.

  MMA / Mixed Martial Arts

MMA or Mixed Martial Arts is a combination of different Martial Arts brought together to make an ultimate fighter. The combination of Muay Thai & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the deadliest in the world; this combination has dominated Mixed Martial Arts and No-Rules Competition around the world. By using techniques from different martial arts systems we have been able to produce a Martial Arts System that is effective for self-defense & also for Martial Arts sports competition. This form of Martial Arts is suitable for adults and teenagers from the age of 13-years.
